Trip to Pulau Babi and Pulau Burung

Hello..
5th June 2011, I arrived at Belitung at around 7.10 in the morning..
I was very tired since I didn't have enough sleep the day before..
But still, I join the trip to Pulau Babi (Err.. Pig Island) and Pulau Burung (Bird Island)..
So, my parents told me about this trip before I booked the flight, they would be going with the cycling group at Belitung (my hometown..), so if I wanna join, I had to take the earliest flight from Jakarta to Belitung..
Well, they're cycling group, but it doesn't mean we went to those island by bike, okie..? hahaha..

Okie.. so my parents and I went to Tanjung Kelayang beach at around 11.30 and met the rest there..
It was raining!! But we were still going..
All of us took a boat to Pulau Babi..
and this is Tanjung Kelayang, taken from the boat..
On the way, my mom's friend told us about this "Pulau Pasir" (in English: Sand Island)
She said when the tide is high, we can't see this island.. interesting, I've never heard about this.. hehehe..
We kept on eating and eating during the journey..
and finally.. we reached!!
So this is it, Pulau Babiii..
Well.. shame on me, I never knew that there is an outbound area in my hometown..
and I saw it there.. at Pulau Babi..
Beside this outbound area, I also saw this..
and these turtles.. they're cute right..? =p

Next.. we moved on to Pulau Burung (Bird Island)..

Before reached Pulau Burung, we went to see a fishpond near the island..

Well.. I could see fish outside the pond as well.. so pretty.. XD
Okieee.. we reached to Pulau Burung (Bird Island)..
If I'm not wrong, the name Bird Island comes from the stones that look like a bird.. and the stones belong to this island.. This is me with the stones.. The right one is the bird's head.. and the left one is its wings..

It was tiring, but fun!! Hahaha.. I remember my last trip to those Island was more than 10 years ago.. I enjoyed the breeze there.. the smell of sea.. the seashell.. everythiiinngggggg..
I love my hometown.. very much.. =)

Jakarta, 4th June 2011 ^^

Helloooo..

I went back to Indonesia last on 4th June..
It has been 1 and a half year after the last time I went back..
I miss Indonesia.. miss my hometown.. miss my parents.. miss my friends..

So, I spend 1 day on 4th June 2011 in Jakarta, went to meet my friends there..
Thanks to Lenny, Sherly, and Windy for picking me up from the airport..
Let me tell you, three of them started to bully me from the first second we met..

They pretended they didn't see me and just walked awayyy..
*chill.. chill..*

OK.. From airport, we went to Mediterania Apartment (Lenny's) and drop my luggage there..
oh yeaa.. we bought lots of snacks and drinks from supermarket below the appartment..
I remember they said I looked like a person who just came out from a forest.. since I kept on saying.. "wooahhh.. I never see this there.. wooahhh.. It's been a long time since the last time I eat/drink this.."
well.. I just took that as a compliment..
lol..
ok then..

first.. we ate siomay while waiting for the rest to come to the apartment..


and.. finally.. they arrived.. (took picture, lol)


then, the journey began..
we went to Taman Anggrek Mall, which just a stone throw from Mediterania..
we walked there and went to BAKMI GM (my favourite noodle in Jakarta)

After that.. we went to meet Hito (Lenny's boyfriend)..
ehhmmm.. sweet new couple.. XP

At around 3-4 pm, my male-friends (NOT my boyfriend, I'm still single, hahaha) came..
They had just finished their lecture at that time..
Then, from Taman Anggrek Mall, we moved to Central Park Mall, which located between Taman Anggrek Mall and Mediterania Aparment..
There.. we went shopping at Strawberry, bought something at Gramedia Bookstore, and we ate pizza for "early dinner" at Dominoes..

After that, we planned to go for Karaoke at Limelight (10 minutes by taxi from Central Park).. but unfortunately, it's fully booked.. the only one available was at 11pm.. and it was a medium size room, which only for 8 people (there were 13 of us..),
so we decided to go to Strawberry Cafe..
Just like the name, all the decorations all full of strawberry, even the menus..
Anyway.. the menu were very confusing, they have super weird name for each food/beverage..
The most interesting thing at this Cafe is, we can play board games..
And we can put on powder on our friend's face when he/she lose the game..
So.. this is it..

The first game.. (Slap the Flies)
The rule is, one person needs to throw the special dices:

So, we just need to multiply the numbers shown on the dices, and find the correct fly, and then SLAPPPPP.. Let me give you an example, when the dices show us 5 and 10, means 5 times 10, we need to find the fly with "50" written on it, and then SLAPPP.. The last person who slaps will get a present.. tadaaaaa.. powder on his/her face.. =p
Oh yeaa.. we slap the flies using this "weapon":


Bored..? Yea.. let's change to another game.. this is "Pisa Tower"
Each person needs to put an effigy on the tower.. then, who drops the effigy will lose..
This game was not so exciting, so we changed to another game..

This is.. what.. I don't know the name.. just called it "Tissue" game.. lol
So, we put 1 ply of tissue at the top of this blue thing, and then each of us has to put one wet bead on the tissue, using a small tongs.. until the tissue is torn.. the person who's holding the tongs when the tissue torn, will lose.. =p

Okieee.. this is the last game..
Well.. I don't remember the name.. but you can see the holes and the swords, right..?
Basically, we just need to stab to any holes on the drum, using the mini sword, and the drum's top must face the face of the person next to you.. and if you choose the "correct" hole, tadaaaaaa..the powder will spurt on your friend's face..

After those games.. We took pictures.. again.. again.. and again.. and I like this the most.. =p


It was about 12 at the night.. and we went home.. all guys went back to their rented rooms..
then all girls went to Mediterania Aparment, they all stay overnight there..
We talked until 3am.. and then we woke up at 4am.. because I had to arrived at airport by 5.50.. my flight was at 6.20 in the morning.. >.<
Thanks to Lenny, Sherly, Cecillia and Monica for sending me to the airport.. =)

Ok.. I was very happy that time.. really.. >.<
Although we didn't see each other for 1 and a half year.. and even 2 years with some..
At that time, I feel that we still meet everyday..
You know why..? Because no one changes.. =)
You are all still the same.. Speak in the same way.. Play in the same way.. Tease me in the same way.. and even still call me with the same nickname..
I really appreciate everything.. picking me from airport.. letting me stay overnight.. put aside your assignments and everything only to meet me on that day, and sending me to airport early in the morning..
I'm so touched.. =')
